Finally, my last post about Curve A/W16—this week it’s all about Panache and Eveden, the two biggest brands of the big bust world. Darlene and I got to visit the Eveden showroom again this season, and even though I was sick and had to leave earlier than Darlene I still took enough photos that I could have made multiple posts about Eveden alone! But let’s ease into things with Panache first, of whom I took slightly fewer pictures…

Panache

Honestly, what I was most excited for this season were the new colors in Panache Sport. So many of them have amazing trim and/or interior colors. I realize no one sees the interior of a sports bra except the owner, but as someone who frequently dresses like a walking box of crayons, excites me nonetheless!

I was so into the turquoise and bright yellow combo of the “Odyssey” print that I apparently forgot to take a photo of the front.

In the non-wired model, there’s a great red, white, and marled blue colorway. Subtly patriotic.

Finally, there’s the seriously neon pink wireless sport.

I’m not much of a pink girl because I don’t think it’s my best color, but I just love the black trim on this beauty.

And it goes great with the not completely matchy-matchy “Neon Pixel” brief.

Next up, swimwear! Since autumn and winter are a slow season for swim, there aren’t that many offerings in general, but I really liked what Cleo had to offer:

Bandeau swimwear doesn’t always agree with me but I might just have to try Suki for the print alone…or buy the bottoms and pair them with a plain black top.

Next up, Cleo bras:

Another Hettie color! It looks red here, but it’s really more of a hot pink. I kind of wish they had chosen literally any other color. I love my blue Hettie [https://hourglassy.com/2016/01/off-the-rack-reviewing-cleo-by-panaches-hettie-bra/] something fierce, and really wanted more colors, but pink is just so…expected.

The new tee shirt bra Tilda (in pink), which is based on Maddie (in black), which is being replaced by the Lexi model (in tan), which will feature smoother fabric than Maddie.

I don’t much care for the granny-like floral pattern of Mimi, but I love the saturated grey base and the neon limeade scalloped thread trim.

One of my absolute favorite color combinations—mint and black! This is Blake, and I literally just remembered that I already own another bra in these exact colors (Claudette’s Fishnet). But hey, if I can justify owning two or three dresses in this color combo, I can justify two or three bras too, right?

I’m desperate to try a Cleo longline, since they feature boning on the sides but not the front (which means no digging and curling like some other longlines I’ve tried), but the muddy print of this Breeze bra leaves me cold.

However! Check out this gorgeous non-padded longline! This photo does not do Piper justice. It’s a super saturated cobalt blue lace. It’s unpadded and goes up to a UK J-cup (J-cup!).

I love when Cleo goes a little more sophisticated, and the Della with high-waisted suspender briefs is no exception.

Another failed attempt at capturing the correct color. The Morgan bra is a glorious teal with a cool flat pink trim, which is actually a heavy elastic. Looked pretty comfy!

As usual, Panache Regular didn’t capture my attention as much, but there were some highlights:

A brown bra! A rare find indeed. This is the Elise molded sweetheart bra in “Praline.” The lace is carefully attached only where it won’t show through thin fabric.

Envy—the bra I so loved [hourglassy.com/2015/03/off-the-rack-panache-envy-bra-reviewed/], but would have preferred in a 28 band—is now available in 28 bands and a lovely teal color (which my camera once again failed to accurately capture)!

Panache Black only had four new items, but I was smitten with two of them:

The Amara is a gorgeous, smoky longline with amazing details, based on the Panache Jasmine shape.

And the Etta (based on the Andorra/Clara shape) features sheer stripes on the upper cup, mimicking the look of a cage bra. It’s so sophisticated.

Finally, some random Panache news: They’ll be introducing a bridal collection come spring/summer 2016 (that’s this August). One thing they’re working on with the current season (and moving forward) is more consistency in fit across all the different lines. So if you wear 28GG in Cleo (hello!), you’ll take 28GG in Panache, Panache Black, and Panache Sport as well. As usual, I asked if there are any plans to make swimwear based on the Panache sports bra and the answer was no, but this time I was told that they actually did try that early on and it didn’t sell. Darnit! I want a Panache sport bikini!

Eveden

Here we go with a million photos, starting with Fantasie…

Top: Alex, bottom: Darcie. I love how Eveden has started making pieces within each season that mix and match.

As usual, I gravitate toward teal—this time in the metallic-like Marianna, which also features a chemise whose body fabric felt deliciously slinky and soft.

One thing Darlene and I noticed and admired was that the lace was completely attached to the cup, as if it were glued on, so there’s no shifting layers of fabric.

The other incredible standout is Sofia, which has a cool little tulle edge on the cup edges and leg openings of the panties. The waspie, though, is to die for.

Next up, my old standard of Freya:

Muse is Freya’s first spacer fabric bra. It’s supposed to be lighter and thinner than the Fantasie Rebecca.

The expansive Freya Fancies collection offers bralettes, a longline, a solid-colored Minx bra [https://hourglassy.com/2015/11/off-the-rack-reviewing-the-freya-minx-bra/], a suspender, Brazillian panties, boyshort panties, and a chemise, in seven different colors that mix and match with the season’s printed offerings. They’re all at a lower price point than similar non-Fancies shapes.

As for Freya’s standout piece, you have the really, really, super-duper, amazingly cool “Pinup” set. Just look at that ridiculous bustier (available up to GG-cups)! I want to wear it as a shirt so bad.

A closeup of the top portion, which is basically just side slings. So you can wear any bra, and the side slings will bring your boobs in for some nice cleavage. The sample did not have adjustable straps, but here’s hoping the final product will!

Freya is introducing a whole new selection of sport items, in a color combo that I absolutely must own:

On to Freya swimwear! Many of the bikini tops for this season offer convertible straps that can be worn as cross-back, regular bra-style, or tied in a halter, and there are lots of mainstream trends incorporated into the offerings:
