Polish brand BiuBiu recently released quite a few new tops and dresses. One of them, the Rosay, immediately caught my eye because it features the double-dip neckline that is so flattering on busty gals. Here’s an example of it from Pepperberry:

PBIn addition to the Rosay top, BiuBiu also sells a jersey dress called Lauret with similar construction up top and a slight A-line skirt. At £29 (about $48) plus £12 ($20) shipping, the PB top is too expensive in my opinion, especially since I’ve never tried their clothes and don’t know really know my size in their schema. The Rosay tops, on the other hand, run about $32 and the Lauret dress is $47, plus I used the 5% off non-expiring code “Facebook” to bring the price down even further.

I’m between 36bb/bbb and 38b/bb in BiuBiu’s sizes. Last time I ordered from them, I went with 36bb/bbb and decided it was a little too clingy, so this time I went with 38b/bb. Unfortunately, though, the boob space in these tops was a little too small on me and the body was surprisingly loose. I think the boob issue has more to do with the fact that my torso is so long and not that the boob volume is too small. Here is the blue dots Rosay in 38b/bb on me:

My finger is touching the underwire of my bra here. That’s about an inch and a half below the shirt’s bustline.

Lauret fell prey to the same boob space issue, but I actually liked the slightly looser fit in the body. Since it’s a dress, the weight of the fabric pulled it down for a smooth look. I also wanted to be able to wear any underwear I felt like without worrying about pantylines or visible pinching at the underwear’s elastic.

I next ordered replacements in 36bb/bbb for Rosay and 38bb/bbb for Lauret. Luckily, I was able to sell the rejects pretty quickly through a Facebook forum and got back almost what I paid (minus shipping). I do not recommend trying to ship from the US back to Poland because it’s expensive (would have been about $25 for these items), and the US Postal Service is not reliable and doesn’t offer tracking for international shipments unless you pay for a way pricier service.

As for the fit of the new sizes, the boobs of the Rosay are still a little small, but not as much as before. The Lauret boobs are perfect, but that’s to be expected since 38bb/bbb has more bust space than 36bb/bbb.

There’s some bunching here, but it doesn’t do that when I’m actually moving around.

Love the mini puffed sleeve and the matching solid fabric at the underbust and shoulder.

I’m wearing the Ewa Michalak S Bambino bra under all the clothes. I’m 5’6″ and my bust measures 37″ and underbust and natural waist 29″.

All three of these garments use the same fabric. It’s light and fairly thin, but not so thin that you can see through it or see bra seams. The navy feels the softest only because it doesn’t have the texture from the printed dots that the other two feature. The quality is nice, but I don’t think it’s going to be quite as long-lasting as it would were it heavier fabric. However, with it being so light, it’s great for hot days!

I really love that Lauret has a thick band under the bust. It anchors it in place really well, whereas with the shirts I find myself pulling it down throughout the day, since the boobs are still a little small.

I’m also very pleased to see that Lauret doesn’t show any pantylines. I’m wearing some of my worst offenders here for pinching along the elastic, yet you can’t see it in back at all and it’s barely noticeable on the sides.

In a perfect world, I wish the bust cups displayed just a little more skin. I don’t need more cleavage, but I think it’d be just a little more flattering if the neckline were a bit more open, like this:
