I’m happy to be part of the team reviewing Panache exercise bras this month. I received the Panache Sports Underwire Molded exercise bra (available at Figleaves and Amazon via affiliated links that may earn Hourglassy a commission). This bra was gifted to me by Panache, but my opinions are my own.
I’m still finding my size in some of the major bra brands, so I started with my Panache swimsuit size, a 36G. That left too much room at the top of the cups and extra bounce, so I sized down to the 36FF, my regular bra size, for a great fit. This bra is very comfortable and easy to put on. It’s even comfortable to wear all day, as I learned the day I never managed to get my walk in.
Most of my exercise bras are wireless, and I like the support and separation I get from this Panache bra. I tend to wear it hooked on either the middle or closest set of hooks. The pattern is louder than I’d normally choose, but it’s grown on me and it hides well under exercise clothing.
I’ve been wearing this bra all month. My main form of exercise is walking, but I’m trying to incorporate more vigorous activities into my routine. I tested this bra with jogging, yoga, aerobic dance, and the trampoline. Over-all, it provides excellent support. It’s great for walking, jogging and yoga…even the upside-down poses like downward dog. There’s a little more bounce with dancing, but it’s still comfortable. For the trampoline, though, I would choose something with even more support.
The benefit of reviewing later in the month is I can learn from everyone else’s experiences. I hadn’t initially thought to use the racerback hook, like Diana did, and once I tried it I noticed better support while running and dancing. Leah recommends sizing up in the band, in my case from a 36 to a 38. However, a 36 is already a size up from my band measurement of 34 inches. I find a size 36 band is usually more comfortable for me than a size 34 and I feel that a 36 in this bra is a perfect fit.
I really like the Panache Sports Underwire bra and look forward to enjoying more active workouts.
