As I mentioned in my last post I am at my parent’s house in Michigan. I already had a long weekend planned when my company told us to begin working from home. I changed my flight and thought I would be out of NYC for a couple of weeks tops. Now I’m going on four weeks in the Midwest and don’t really know when I will be returning to New York.
So far all of my family and friends are ok and my job is safe. I have a beautiful path through the woods near my parent’s house and I am doing the best I can to focus on the positive and be thankful. My heart aches at the thought that any of our Hourglassy readers could have lost loved ones or their livelihood. Please let us know how you are doing in the comments section.
I didn’t pack well four weeks ago. My current wardrobe consists of 3 dresses (2 Bravissimo, 1 Lauren Ralph Lauren), 2 t-shirts, my Bravissimo denim shirt, 3 sweaters, one pajama pant, one workout pair of pants, one pair of jeans and a pair of black pants. I have three pairs of shoes and my slippers. Luckily, I threw all my bras in my suitcase.
So far, I have gotten dressed every day for work but I’m not doing very well on make-up or hair styling. One of my three dresses is this Lauren by Ralph Lauren long sleeved dress in size 18. It’s not available in green anymore (I purchased the dress in December). This dress fits me so well for a regular dress not made specifically for a full bust.
I didn’t fasten the hook and eye above the back zipper which you can see in the back view of this dress. The backside of the dress is also not as smooth as a dress designed for a full bust.
This dress is a bit fancy for the office job I started in January, although I have been wearing it anyway. Lauren by Ralph Lauren jersey dresses are fast becoming one of my favorites.
I like that the dresses are made of jersey with some stretch for a comfortable fit. I hang the dresses to dry and they dry wrinkle-free.
The new spring fuschia version of this dress is lovely (and available in Petite, Misses and Plus sizes)! It has recently gone on sale at Macys for $65.09. The dress is also available in limited sizes in blue, and blue petite.
