This week on my coat series I’ll be highlighting two of my lighter autumn coats from Pepperberry. These are short ones, and I apologize for the ponte leggings. I went to take these photos for the blog while wearing a knee length trench coat!

Pepperberry coats have a fantastic shape for hourglassy women and all the detailing, like button placement, has been done with a busty figure in mind so one can even button the trench type coats all the way up. As Pepperberry is a UK company, it doesn’t cover all my coat requirements because the winter coats are far too light for our winters, but the autumn and spring coats work superbly. Size-wise I need to go up one size compared to my normal Pepperberry size because I’m very broad shouldered and need more shoulder room with tailored clothing.

Trench coats are definitely impossible for ample bosomed women to find, but so are classic denim coats! Pepperberry did a few jacket types, but I was more into their classic denim style. Outfit proportions are off here, but this is just showing the fit of the coat!

These coats were in fact far too chilly for this sunny afternoon when the photos were taken so that explains my rather miserable face. 🙂 Luckily the sauna was heating up at home so got to warm up in the best possible way when I went home.

The coat series will continue from lighter to thicker coats as the autumn goes on. I’m thinking of writing about my long trench coats next week! I love the classic look of a longer trench–it adds instant chic to every outfit.
