I have a confession to make:  sometimes I wear the same workout bra and tee shirt for an entire week before washing them.  I’ve been thinking about changing this after my meeting with Margaret Shrum last August.  Not only does she wear clean clothes for every workout, she also makes sure they’re cute.

Since I was already in tee shirt mode in JCPenney last Friday, I also scored two new workout tops there (each $7.30 after sale and coupon).  Yesterday, I wore the purple top below.  What a difference in how I felt each time I caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror–it shaved inches off before I even reached the treadmill!

Tomorrow I’ll wear the turquoise top below.  After that, it’s either time for laundry or another trip to JCP because I don’t think I can return to wearing Mr. Campbell’s tee shirts.  (If he’d known that this was all it took to keep me from borrowing his shirts, he would have taken me to JCP himself a long time ago.)

My new tops are size Petite Large.  The neckline isn’t the most flattering, but I can live with that.  I can also live with the way the seams of my Enell sports bra show through, but if it ever bothers me, I can switch to my Anita.
