I have embraced wearing dresses this summer, a change from my Sézane top and H&M pants uniform from earlier this spring. I recently discovered the selling platform Vinted, from Germany I can purchase and sell to Germany, France, Italy and the Netherlands. The platform has Bravissimo/Pepperberry for great prices with low shipping and no customs and you are going to see some new dresses in this post.

This blue jersey wrap dress was one of my final purchases from Bravissimo’s clothing selling days. It’s size 18 really/super curvy. I don’t tend to wear it to work (it’s a touch too low cut) but I enjoy wearing it out with friends.

Lots of color in this patterned sundress from Pepperberry (purchased in new without tags condition from Vinted in size 18 really/super curvy). I also don’t wear this one to work but it’s a fun weekend dress and also a great house dress in the heat.

A jersey wrap dress is a favorite for me, this is from the brand Leota in size 1X. I wore this to work (and also have a teal version). I have done a tacking stitch in the wrap top for modesty. Leota uses a lighter weight jersey than Ralph Lauren, great for summer but also not as durable.

In May, I recommended this H&M cotton dress in size XL. I have worn it several times, one thing to note it definitely needs a tacking stitch in the wrap top. In the picture with the blue sweater (XXL from Sézane) I wore it to work. The selfie with the white sneakers is in a hostel mirror on a vacation.

After writing about the Mistral dress from Urkye earlier this year, I ended up buying two more colors: red and black. Below I am wearing all three versions. The black one is becoming a go to for me this summer. All three dresses are size 50 2/3. The v-neck in these dresses seems a touch low but still very wearable to work.

Another day, another wrap dress. I don’t tend to wear Lauren by Ralph Lauren dresses much in the summer as the jersey is heavy and too warm. However, it can be cold in Berlin even in late spring/summer. The dress is size 18 in misses sizing.

I didn’t completely abandon my Sézane top and H&M bottom outfit formula this summer. Below you can see me wearing a black linen button down t-shirt in size XXL and my favorite Max shirt from Sézane in size 44 with jeans and trousers from H&M in size 50.

The Kopertówka shirt from Urkye is one of my favorite silhouettes. I am wearing two of the newest colors with a stretch black pleated skirt from the brand Esprit in size XXL. I had both of these shirts altered to be ¾ sleeves and they are size 48 2/3. Urkye will alter the sleeve length and the length of the dress for free (this makes items non-returnable).

One of my least worn dresses is the dark navy one from the French brand Monoprix in size 48 that I purchased in 2018. I tend to wear it around two times per summer and it’s great for work. Monoprix is a grocery store in France and also has stores that are more like a Target. If you are in France, definitely check it out!

My final summer look is a printed cotton dress from Pepperberry (also purchased this year on Vinted) in size 18 super curvy. I wore this to work on a super hot day and it kept me cool.

I bought more new dresses than I anticipated this spring and summer season, however my body changed post-surgery (my Thyroidectomy) and buying clothing that fits and flatters is an important part of self-care. Wishing everyone an enjoyable summer in beautiful and flattering dresses!
Wow, the Bravissimo blue jersey wrap dress is beautiful on you! The v-neckline flatters your bust, and the flared skirt balances your upper body. Dark blue is such a versatile color. The way the Urkye Mistral dress smoothly flares out, starting just under the smallest part of your torso, is fabulous. I like that this dress is all one color. This hem length is perfect on you. The sleeves end at a non-optimal point. It looks cute with the long-sleeved cardigan over it. Fluid toppers seem to work well on you.
Yes, the Mistral dresses are great buys for you – a great shape and good colours. Thank you for showing us them. And I like the little cardigans on top of dresses. you are channeling Anna Wintour!
I can see why you don’t wear the Monoprix dress often, it drowns you .
