Here comes my next post about the A/W21 Curve Expo, with Eveden brands Freya and Fantasie (Elomi and Goddess will be next). Except in this case, I’m actually covering Spring/Summer 2021, which means all these pieces are either available now or coming very soon! (Some brands prefer not to release their future collections to the public ahead of time, so we end up sharing them as they become available instead of several months in advance.)

All sizes here are listed in UK format. Freya and Fantasie’s prices are fairly average, starting around $60 USD for a bra, but the brands are so ubiquitous that you can usually find a sale or coupon. You can find the below items with loads of online and brick-and-mortar retailers, but I’ll link each individual piece below to Amazon or elsewhere, for easy shopping.

First up is my longtime favorite, Freya. Their lingerie this season had a more muted palette than what I’m used to, but their swim collection is completely amazing! The last thing I need is yet another swimsuit considering how many I already own, but I’m sill drooling over the gorgeous colors and patterns.

Keep in mind that there are way more lingerie and swim designs in this expansive collection than what I’m showing here. These are merely my personal top picks!

The latest Freya Sport fashion color is “Lime.” I’m a sucker for neon, especially shades of yellow or green, so this really appeals to me. This is the Sonic underwire molded sports bra, available in 28-40, up to H cups. The Sport collection also includes the Core underwire seamed bra (28-38, up to K), Epic underwire seamed bra with molded interior (28-40, up to H), Dynamic non-wired bra (28-40, up to J), and coordinating Kinetic leggings (XS-XL).
I love the new Freya Fancies color, “Berry.” It’s so rich and juicy-looking! The underwire balcony bra (shown here) comes in 28-38, up to K, and the underwire plunge comes in 28-38, up to G.
I don’t usually go for white bras, but the Awakening molded plunge tee shirt bra features the perfect cage strap shape, in my opinion. It follows the contour of the cup (and your cleavage) rather than reaching all the way up to the collarbone. It comes in 28-38, up to GG. White comes out in April.
Also part of the Awakening collection is this super cute polka dot and floral underwire plunge bra, in sizes 28-38 D-H (also coming in April)
Finally, we come to my favorite bra, the Erin underwire plunge bra in a bright coral floral print with stretch lace trim, in sizes 28-38 D-G. The balcony version comes in cups GG-K. There’s also a matching wireless lace bralette in this collection that looks super comfy, in sizes XS-XL.
I absolutely adore the pink/purple/orange/red irregular stripe pattern of the Bali Bay swim collection. The plunge underwire bikini top (seen here) comes in 28-38, up to HH; the underwire bralette top comes in 30-38 D-G, the non-wired triangle top comes in 30-38, up to FF; and there are three bottoms to choose from.
The Bassline collection is another amazing print, this time an abstract geometric in the unexpected combination of mint, mustard, red, black, and white. The underwire high apex top (seen here) comes in 28-38, up to J; the underwire bralette top comes in 30-38 D-G; and there are three matching bottoms. Both these tops have convertible straps in back, to be worn as normal, cross-back, or halter.
More bright colors! This is Tiger Bay, which I guess is supposed to be a take on animal print, but to me looks like brush strokes. The underwire plunge top (seen here) comes in 28-38, up to HH; and the underwire molded plunge comes in 28-38, up to GG; with two bottom choices.
If you prefer something a little less loud, then Gemini Palm, coming in April, is for you. Consisting of a bold black and white palm leaf pattern, this option offers four (yes, four!) different bikini tops—underwire bandeau (seen here) in 30-36 D-G; underwire molded sweetheart in 30-38, up to HH; underwire molded plunge in 28-38, up to GG; and non-wired triangle top in 30-38, up to FF. Plus, there are three bottom choices, one of which is reversible to an all-white side with black trim.
Okay, back to the colors! This is the Beach Hut set in a suuuuuuper pretty bright lavender that Freya calls “Cassis.” The underwire bandeau with detachable straps (seen here) comes in 30-38, up to G; the underwire high-apex top (with convertible straps) comes in 28-38, up to J; and the underwire halter top comes in 30-38, up to GG; with two bottom styles.
The final print I’ll share is Wild Daisy. I think the detachable waist ties are really cute and give it a little something extra. This underwire halter top comes in 28-38, up to H; the underwire sweetheart top comes in 30-38, up to HH; and an underwire plunge tankini comes in 30-38, up to HH; with two bottoms. I have to be honest, though, and admit that what really appeals to me about this collection is its matching coverup…
…IT’S A ROMPER!!! Pretty sure I need this in my life. Except that the description says “Shorter length styling for an improved fit on the body,” which indicates that it would probably be too short for my extremely long torso.

Moving on to Fantasie, I have to note that they did an absolutely phenomenal job with the photography this season! Several of the lingerie sets were photographed not on the body, but rather in a series of staged scenes that are really pretty and feature excellent lighting that shows off the prints to their best effect. I especially like these compositions because normally we would be photographing the lingerie against the white tables at Curve, so it almost makes me feel like we were there in person.

The swimwear shots are also just stellar. The use of light and shadow make all the sets pop against the lush tropical background. Whatever location they used was really well chosen.

Anyway, here are some of my favorite pieces from another expansive collection:

Rosemarie is an underwire side-support bra in a rich raspberry jam color. I think the print is really cool—it looks like an abstract digital rose pattern. Comes in 30-40, up to J cups.
Envisage is an underwire full-cup side-support bra in a taupe tone-on-tone snakeskin-esque lace. I love the combination of conservative style with the subtle snakeskin. Comes in 30-40, up to HH.
Corryn is an underwire side-support bra in a pretty periwinkle blue floral with pops of coral. This shade of blue makes a few appearances this season. Comes in 30-40, up to J.
The next periwinkle set is Illusion, another underwire side-support bra. If you like the fit of Illusion, you may be happy to know that in addition to tan, black, and white continuity colors, the fashion shades of “Smokey Blue” (seen here), “Navy,” and “Willow” (a sage green) are “limited continuity,” meaning they should stick around for a while! Comes in 30-42, up to J.
Next, we have Thea underwire side-support bra in “Sorbet” print, which I think is so pretty and delicate-looking. Available in 30-40, up to H.
Finally, we come to my top pick of the season, the Aubree collection, featuring baroque-style leafy embroidery. I think it plays beautifully on the underwire padded half-cup bra seen here (sizes 30-38 D-G), but it’s also available in an underwire side-support bra (30-40, up to GG) and a molded spacer bra with the embroidery on the band (30-40, up to H).
For swimwear, this time I’ll start with my favorite, the Port Maria, featuring black and white botanical print with pops of nearly neon orange. The collection includes an underwire halter bikini top (seen here) in 30-40, up to H; underwire twist bandeau with detachable straps in 30-38 D-G; underwire full-cup gathered top in 32-44, up to J; underwire twist-front tankini in 32-38, up to H; and two bottom options.
Another brightly colored tropical choice is Burano, this time on a bold cerulean blue background. Available in four tops, three bottoms, and a one-piece. The underwire full-cup gathered top (seen here) comes in 32-44, up to J; underwire bralette top comes in 30-40, up to H; underwire twist bandeau comes in 30-38 D-G; underwire tankini comes in 32-40, up to GG; and underwire plunge swimsuit comes in 32-40 D-G. Also of note, Burano is crafted with “Vita by Carvico,” a regenerated nylon fabric made from fishing nets, discarded fabric, and plastics.
Let’s tone things down a bit with Tobago, which combines abstract flora and fauna on a white background. Coral/pink/red with teal is my favorite color combination, so naturally I’m a fan of this set. I’m actually not sure what style the model is wearing because the image is a bit busy and low-resolution (maybe the bandeau worn as a halter?), but the lookbook lists an underwire full-cup gathered top in 32-44, up to J; underwire twist bandeau top in 30-38 D-G; and underwire twist front swimsuit with adjustable leg in 32-42 D-GG; plus three bottoms and a sarong. This set arrives in April.
For another toned-down look, there’s Boa Vista, in a dark green and black pattern that reminds me of animal print and ink blots at the same time. It comes in an underwire full-cup twist bikini top in sizes 32-44, up to H; underwire twist bandeau in 30-38 D-G; underwire twist-front swimsuit with adjustable leg in 32-42 D-GG; and two bottom styles. Boa Vista doesn’t seem to be as widely available with US retailers, but I did find the bandeau and one of the bottoms on Bare Necessities.
Okay, back to the brights! This is the final swim set I’ll share, Vilamoura—I can’t resist a good red! This one is also made from the Vita by Carvico recycled nylon. The underwire twist-front full-cup bikini (seen here) comes in 32-44, up to H cups; underwire twist bandeau comes in 30-38 D-G; underwire twist-front tankini comes in 32-38, up to H; underwire scoop-neck swimsuit comes in 32-40, up to G; and there are two bottom styles.
Lastly, I just had to share the bright red Dione tunic swim cover-up that matches Vilamoura. I absolutely love the wide embroidered edging at the sleeves and hem. The body is made of jersey fabric, so expect it to drape nicely and wash well too. Sizes S-XL.
