I used to think of the Campbell & Kate blog as Hourglassy-lite, but as I give my business the focus it deserves, the C&K blog is becoming more interesting to write. You’ll understand what I mean if you check out last week’s post about bust-friendly finds from Of Mercer that we styled with my shirts.
Here’s the original C&K instagram post that inspired the wrap dress look. Instagram is another outlet that I didn’t realize could be so fun! If you’re on IG, would you follow @campbellandkate?
And here are a few more pictures of Lela in the Of Mercer’s Sutton wrap dress. It was a cloudy day, so we tried to find patches of light wherever we could–none were big enough for standing poses, but you get the idea!
![Here you can see the title of the book we tease with on the C&K blog--perfect for Equal Pay Day, except I'm not finished reading it yet!](https://hourglassy.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/big-bust-blue-dress-reading-441x600.jpg)
I already mentioned the Of Mercer Lenox blazer when I announced my pop up shop here two weeks ago. I knew it fit me, but it was great to see how well the size M fit Lela, too. And of course the best lighting was in the bathroom! (I think I did a pretty good job of cropping out the bathroom evidence on Instagram, don’t you?)
Finally, a few more notes on fit. Lela can generally fit a 32F bra in European brands, and she wears a 4 or 6 in pants. Anything in size M from Of Mercer fit her fine. The Elizabeth shell that you see in the C&K post was an S, which made it snug, especially when layered. If you’re considering one of their sheath dresses, I recommend sizing up, as we couldn’t completely zip them up in size 4.
Love this blazer! Beautiful shape and silhouette!
