We missed you last Saturday! It’s impossible to share everything we talked about over our Margaritas and amazing Mexican food (I’m getting the Chiles en Nogada again next time), but here are my personal highlights.

hourglassy writers meet in williamsburg

What we wore: I’m wearing my $15 Marshall’s find with a jean skirt. Tina wore a Bravissimo faux wrap dress from years ago that still looks great (later on, she also put on a little black shrug from Bravissimo that made the dress look like it had sleeves and gave it a jewel neckline). Leah wore one of her flash sale finds. I wish you could see the bicycle near the hem! You may also recognize her cleverly gathered cami that offers much more flattering cleavage coverage than a straight-across line.

What I learned:

  • I’m planning to order this Bravissimo lounging top  because of Tina’s great experience with the racerback version (if you click the link, you’ll also get a glimpse of her shrug). Tina told me the band is stretchier than a regular bra band, so I should be fine in a 34GG/H.
  • I FINALLY posted bras for sale on Bratabase. Leah’s the queen of selling bras, so I wanted to hear about her experience there. Interestingly, she says that her EM’s are snatched up right away. Her Claudettes, on the other hand, never move. How about others of you who sell your bras via Bratabase or other channels–what has been your experience?

What I already knew: Tina and Leah are two amazing, thoughtful and adventurous women that Hourglassy is lucky to have writing for it.
