Receiving a goody bag is the second best thing about them. Discovering something valuable inside is the BEST, and that’s what you’ll find inside the Busty Clothing Swap goody bags. Register here to attend and receive yours! For those of you who can’t make it, don’t stop reading–look at this list as a refresher of, and introduction to,  some of the great brands and stores that cater to us (with a bonus DD Atelier peek at the end).

1.  DD Atelier. Busty Swappers will receive a coupon for 15% off their next purchase from the “For Busty and Trendy” brand. DD Atelier sent me a dress and blazer to showcase at the event, and I’ve taken photos and written my impressions below.

2. Lion’s Lair Designs.  Lion’s Lair is known for providing great fit advice and a multitude of bra and swimwear options to full-busted women from its store in Islamorada Key, Florida, as Leah discovered when she first began to figure out her size. You’ll find a $15 coupon with no restrictions or minimums from them in your bag. (I want to use my coupon for the Freya loungewear that they were one of the first to offer in the U.S.)

3. Urkye. We haven’t reviewed this Polish brand on Hourglassy yet, but look for a writeup by Leah on Off the Rack soon. They promise full-busted women that “you’ll forget how it was to see gaping buttons or pulling seams.” You’ll find a one-time discount of 30% off your entire order in your goody bag.

4. Marketa New York. Marketa makes timeless leather clutches, purses and totes by hand in her Bronx studio. She’s providing a 20% discount off any item from her shop.

5. Real Girls Lingerie. I’ll be writing more about this great new company next week. Before that, Busty Swappers will receive a 15% discount off products on the Real Girls Lingerie website and hair ties made from leftover scraps from the silk used to create the Peony Collection of sleepwear that fits full-busted women up to an F cup.

6. Town Shop. My feet have been getting cold in this fall weather, so I’m looking forward to the Town Shop footies that will be in our bags. But I’m more excited about the discount card that will give me a chance to choose something new from amongst the one of the best full-bust inventories available in NYC and to work again with one of my favorite fitters there, Eyvette, Shawntell or Maritza.

7. Forever New and Soak. These delicate cleansers make it a pleasure to hand wash your bras.

8. Campbell & Kate. I’ll have my fit samples there for you to discover your best fit, and you can use the 25% discount card in your goody bag to purchase it later (I won’t be selling anything at the event itself).

————————

Here are the DD Atelier pieces that you’ll be able to admire and handle in person at the Busty Clothing Swap.

1. Wool London Jacket. Basically, this is the jacket I’m always looking for. The color is perfect for mixing and matching, dressing up or down. They sent me a size 70D, which measures approximately 35″ around the bust (not counting the extra room you’ll receive from the lapel opening), 30.5″ around the waist, and 15.5″ at the shoulders. I need to double-check DomesticOutlet’s measurements to see if this would fit her.

The pockets are a great detail–I would use it for my subway card or ID. The buttons are a nice quality, but you can easily replace them with black if you want something more subtle. The princess seams lay flat.
The absolute best feature about this blazer? The seam around the waist so that you can have it taken in if you are petite or short-waisted.I’m also impressed with the design feature of a back yoke.
Closeup of the inside of the back vent. I’m impressed with the workmanship throughout–all seams match and no shortcuts were taken on details. For instance, the pockets are also lined. Also, you can’t see the left breast welt pocket in my photos, but it’s not just for decoration. It’s a real pocket.

2. Diva Dress in Dark Blue. The color online and of the sleeve below is more accurate, but I used a flash help make things more visible. When I first unwrapped this dress, I wasn’t blown away, but as I set it up for the photos, I again became extremely impressed by the details. Guess what? This is a woven, not a stretch, fabric (100% viscose). It drapes extremely nicely, as you can see from the video on their website.

The skirt is composed of 6 panels.
I am in love with the way they created this sweetheart neckline.
Once again, these buttons aren’t only decorative–they actually button!
