You cannot get the full impact of Grace’s knits without also viewing the pictures on this entry of her blog, CraftyCarolynKnits. We are in the presence of genius, ladies. The thought of being able to adapt knit patterns to fit perfectly almost makes me want to learn to knit.
Two vests, two shirts, a twin set and a dress.
Close up of the twin set.
Close up of the dress.
P.S. Grace authorized me to link to her blog, where you will of course discover that her real name is not Grace. But in keeping with pseudonyms beginning with the same letter as cup size . . . .

I don't know why I didn't ask this while we were coordinating, but when did you learn to knit, and when do you do it–while commuting, watching TV, just sitting? I read on your blog that your interest ebbs and flows, but it must feel great when you finish something.
I am all about the finishing! I knit very fast because I'm mostly motivated by the thought of the finished object.
I technically learned from my Granny when I was a young girl, but I didn't get far and she kind-of gave up on me. I rediscovered it in college and joined a knitting group.
From there I got more and more ambitious and took on the biggest challenges I could find.
I discovered that sweater knitting is my favorite and I like to knit sweaters with very small needles and fine yarn, I think it looks more professional and sleek.
I do also knit socks and dresses and I have plans for some skirts. I'm not crazy about knitting scarves, but I really need one, so I might have to!
I mostly knit while watching TV. I hate feeling unproductive, so it helps me feel like I'm getting something done while watching movies or tv or hanging out with friends.

I have so many different names, I'm really going to confuse your readers!
This really is inspiring. I loved the pictures of the knit tops and especially t-shirts. That lends so much variety to her wardrobe.
Being able to custom create almost whatever you want for your wardrobe is awesome. My favorite thing about knitting!
