Here’s a picture of my pattern maker Heather (left) and technical designer Nupur sorting out a few discrepancies between the patterns and the factory samples this morning. The 10L sample turned out to be an inch less in the chest than the pattern called for. No wonder the buttons seemed to pull a bit when my fit model tried it on.
This afternoon I met with my art director to discuss clothing labels and hang tags. Isn’t this exciting? I plan to place an order for my first set of shirts by July 31. Look for details soon about how you can pre-order one!
Tomorrow morning I take the patterns to the grader, so it’ll probably be a late day for blog posting again. I want to write about another rule-breaker friend of mine, this time with jewelry. Also, I’m obsessed with corset tops lately, so look for lots of corset top postings soon.
