For us full-busted women, nothing beats a classic black tee. My own favorite tee is this one that I wrote about last year. Maybe it’s because I live in New York City, but as I wrote about tee shirts last week, I saw classic black tees everywhere, beginning with this woman on the subway.
My theory is that, because a black tee shirt minimizes us everywhere, we can get away with a little more cleavage without looking like we’re trying to show off our assets. It’s discreet, classy and feminine.
I’ll post the rest of the Curve Cam black tee shirt photos that I took later this evening.
I don’t like black t-shirts. Minimising us everywhere is good in theory, but in practise there are some women who just would be better off if they stayed away from black completely. I’m plus sized (really plus-sized) and black does absolutely nothing for me. I look like I just died in black, no slimming effect whatsoever overcomes that. T-shirt fabric also is too clingy, it only accentuates my rolls around the middle. I look best in bright colours like turquoise, lilac, pink, light blue and button-down shirts or tunikas with princess seams cut to fit my hips and bust. If they fit loose around the waist I use a belt.
I love those colors you listed.
