First the good news: the bras, panties and shapewear from Dirty Dolls are much prettier in person than they are on their website–especially the everyday bra.


Some more good news: Dirty Dolls plans to offer cup sizes larger than DDD soon.

Now the bad news: I didn’t try anything on. There were just too many interesting people to talk to at the N Boutique in Harlem last night for me to think about asking Courtney or Erica, the Dirty Dolls founders, for something in my size. I did speak to a woman who wears a DD and had tried their camisole bra.


Although I was impressed with the underwire detail of this bra, she had felt smashed in. Instead, she found the corselette bra to be perfect on her. I also liked the low back of the corselette (at least on this mannequin).


It looks like I’m going to have to host a Dirty Dolls party to get a real sense of their products. I’ll let you know when you’re invited!
