Last Tuesday I dropped this blouse off with my seamstress. Was it saved?

Not enough for me to wear it out of the house. I’m giving it to my sister. I had such dreams for this blouse. Unfortunately, so many changes would have to be made in order to realize them, that I might as well have had something custom made. See the solution that my seamstress tried after the jump.

Sigh. $55 for the blouse + $20 for the elastic alteration = $75 lesson.
