I can’t believe how long it’s taken me to finish going through all the Curve Expo coverage from the August show! But here we are at the last blog post, featuring the Eveden family of brands: Freya, Fantasie, and Elomi. There’s no Goddess this go-round, and I’m not sure if that’s because there was nothing released or if I missed the lookbook somehow.

Some brands prefer not to have photos of their upcoming collections splashed all over the internet ahead of time, and Eveden is one of them. As such, while the rest of the recent Curve coverage featured Spring/Summer 2022, here I’m showcasing Autumn/Winter 2021. But you know what that means—all of these are available for sale now instead of having to wait several more months! So wherever possible, I’ve linked to a retailer.

To be honest, unfortunately this season is not that exciting for any of the three brands. I suspect this is 100% due to covid-19. This collection would have been developed over a year ago, right when the pandemic was at its worst. There are still a few gems to be found, though, which I’ve featured here. All sizes are listed in UK.

First up is Freya. Normally my favorite of the Eveden family, this season it’s my least favorite. It’s mostly just some updates to familiar styles, and most of the new colors and shapes are things we’ve seen before. Here are a few things that did manage to catch my eye:

“Snapshot” is a new series that includes a wireless bralette, a sheer high apex plunge bra, and a molded-cup bra. Something about the simplicity of this bralette, and its pine green color, greatly appeals to me. It has a hook-and-eye closure in back, but the straps are not adjustable. Comes in sizes XS-XL, which covers 30-38 D-G.
I also like the Snapshot high apex plunge bra. I don’t recall Freya ever making such a sheer option before, and the seams on the skin is quite sexy.
Another new series is “Temptress,” which offers two different strappy bra styles in black and red. This three-part plunge features lace and cage straps, and comes in sizes 28-38 D-G. This series will be released this very month!
This is the Temptress molded plunge tee shirt bra, with cage straps that come up a lot higher for a peek-a-boo effect with the right top or dress. Sizes 28-38 up to GG cups.
Freya’s active collection returns with two new colorways. This is the “Sonic” underwire molded sports bra in “Nightshade,” which comes in sizes 28-40, up to H. It’s offered with coordinating “Kinetic” leggings in XS-XL.
The second new active colorway is “Navy Spice,” seen here on the “Dynamic” non-wired sports bra (sizes 28-40, up to J) and Power Sculpt leggings in Nightshade (size XS-XL).
The first of three swim prints that I liked is the “Bali Bay” collection in new blue colorway “Biosphere.” Seen here is the underwire plunge (sizes 28-38, up to HH), but there’s also a concealed underwire bralette style with convertible straps in sizes 30-38 D-G, and a wireless triangle halter bikini in sizes 30-38, up to FF, along with three bottom styles.
The “Check-In” swim series features a black and white gingham print, but from a distance the slightly fuzzy print looks more like polka dots. It’s available in an underwire sweetheart bikini in sizes 30-42, up to HH (seen here); a high apex bikini with underbust ruffle in sizes 28-38, up to J; underwire bandeau in sizes 30-36 D-G; an underwire plunge tankini in sizes 30-38, up to HH; and three bottom styles.
Last is the “Zanzibar” series in a gorgeous jade green. The concealed underwire bralette (seen here) features an adjustable drawstring at front and convertible straps and comes in sizes 30-39 D-G. Also available is an underwire plunge bikini top in sizes 28-38, up to HH; plus two bottom styles.

Moving on to Fantasie, there wasn’t much that caught my eye on the lingerie side, but there are a few swim prints that stand out. Usually Fantasie is more conservative with swim compared to Freya, but this time I think Fantasie’s prints are much more unique.

One of the two bras I’m impressed with is new style “Harper.” Florals are hardly groundbreaking, but I like the look of the embroidery on the top half of the cup. Available in sizes 30-40, up to J.
The other bra that excites me is a new style from the “Envisage” series. This non-wired bralette is made of stretch jacquard that looks so comfy! It has hook-and-eye closure in back, though again the straps are not adjustable, and it comes in sizes XS-XL, which covers 30-38, up to G.
For swimwear, “Île de Ré” is a new series featuring a bold, oversized, black and cream leaf print. Because the print is flat, it looks more like a graphic design-y print than a floral, which I think is cool. The underwire gathered full-cup bikini (seen here) comes in sizes 30-40, up to H; the underwire twist bandeau comes in 30-38 D-G; and the underwire scoop neck tankini comes in 32-40 D-H; plus there are two bottom styles.
This season, the “Kotu” series is being released in a new inky colorway. The print reminds me of something you’d see under a microscope, like a cell wall or something… The underwire gathered full-cup bikini (seen here) comes in sizes 3-40, up to H; the underwire bandeau comes in 30-38 D-G; the underwire adjustable-side tankini comes in 32-40, up to H; an underwire twist-front one-piece swimsuit comes in 32-42, up to H; and there are two bottom choices.
Finally, I love the color of the “La Chiva” series. I also appreciate that the asymmetrical stripe print looks like it could be just regular stripes or an oversized abstract leaf print. This underwire twist full-cup bikini comes in sizes 30-40, up to H; and its matching mid-rise briefs come in XS-XL.

Lastly, we come to Elomi. Once again, there wasn’t a ton that thrilled me. But as usual, I do adore the new Matilda colors. I also think the photo shoot is super cute and clever. It’s shot in a colorful laundromat, and the hair and styling scream 1990s in the best possible way!

One of two new colors for fan favorite the Matilda bra is this teal “Bluestar” shade. The embroidery on this one is tiny stars—love it! Available in sizes 32-46, up to K.
The second new Matilda color is this warm red “Crimson” with the traditional connected-dots embroidery. Sizes 32-46, up to K.
New and very exciting for the season is the “Kelsey” hidden underwire bralette. On the interior, this bra is based on the Matilda frame in  café au lait color to disappear on a range of skin tones. From the exterior, though, all you see is a lace crop top in a leaf motif. I can totally imagine this being worn as a top, under a jacket and with some flowy high-waist pants. Available in sizes 32-44, up to JJ.
Kelsey also comes in this gorgeous petrol blue color. Sizes 32-44, up to JJ.
Eveden always produces fabulous sports bra prints, and the new Elomi is no exception. This is “Energise” underwire sports bra in “Blue Lightning.” Available in sizes 32-46, up to K. This one will be on sale this month.
For swimwear, there are only three new designs in predictable prints (tropical floral, gingham, and animal), but the pale pink animal-print Kambuku is pretty cute (though that shade of pink may be tough to pull off for a lot of ladies—myself included!). Both the underwire bandeau seen here and an underwire plunge bikini come in sizes 34-44, up to HH; and there are two bottom styles.
