I can’t believe how long it’s taken me to finish going through all the Curve Expo coverage from the August show! But here we are at the last blog post, featuring the Eveden family of brands: Freya, Fantasie, and Elomi. There’s no Goddess this go-round, and I’m not sure if that’s because there was nothing released or if I missed the lookbook somehow.
Some brands prefer not to have photos of their upcoming collections splashed all over the internet ahead of time, and Eveden is one of them. As such, while the rest of the recent Curve coverage featured Spring/Summer 2022, here I’m showcasing Autumn/Winter 2021. But you know what that means—all of these are available for sale now instead of having to wait several more months! So wherever possible, I’ve linked to a retailer.
To be honest, unfortunately this season is not that exciting for any of the three brands. I suspect this is 100% due to covid-19. This collection would have been developed over a year ago, right when the pandemic was at its worst. There are still a few gems to be found, though, which I’ve featured here. All sizes are listed in UK.
First up is Freya. Normally my favorite of the Eveden family, this season it’s my least favorite. It’s mostly just some updates to familiar styles, and most of the new colors and shapes are things we’ve seen before. Here are a few things that did manage to catch my eye:
Moving on to Fantasie, there wasn’t much that caught my eye on the lingerie side, but there are a few swim prints that stand out. Usually Fantasie is more conservative with swim compared to Freya, but this time I think Fantasie’s prints are much more unique.
Lastly, we come to Elomi. Once again, there wasn’t a ton that thrilled me. But as usual, I do adore the new Matilda colors. I also think the photo shoot is super cute and clever. It’s shot in a colorful laundromat, and the hair and styling scream 1990s in the best possible way!
