Now that I’m living in a zoom world, I’m all about tops, so when Patricia let me choose a second gifted item from her website this year, I pounced on the Nancy. It has all the features I look for:
- 3/4 sleeves to make me look more lifted (neckline vs waistline boobs),
- a scoopy cowl neck that breaks up the mound of fabric, and
- enough room for my large chest.
Patricia has also added a neat little asymmetrical detail–a drawstring up the left side.
I chose to tuck the Nancy top into my leather pencil skirt for a sleeker look.
For something more casual, I like it with white jeans.
I’m wearing a size medium in these photos. Due to recent weight gain, you may notice a little pulling across my chest, and the sleeve hems are snug but not uncomfortable around my arms. A size large would probably give me more ease, but I like the proportion of the medium.
The Nancy top is a year round wardrobe item, but I especially like it for the fall. If you’re looking for a single piece to spice up your wardrobe this season, consider a Nancy top.
(If you’re looking for something a little more playful and summery, I’m in love with the Sophia top and matching wrap maxi skirt. Or for something with a little more sleeve interest, check out this wrap top in white lace.)
I love this top, it’s appropriate that it would be on hourglassy.com because this is one of those blouses that are cut to accentuate your curves without highlighting imperfections, giving you an hour glass look.
Thanks, Katie!
Love the top paired with the leather skirt(what brand is that?). The coloring and style of the top look great on you!
The skirt is Theory. I splurged after my first week at the law firm. It was the last Saturday in March that boutiques were open, and I had no idea I wouldn’t be wearing it to the office in the months ahead.
The wow factor: Darlene in our leopard Nancy Top!
Thanks for showing how versatile and flattering this top can be for busty women.
You go from hot stuff Autumn model in your black skirt, to summer ready to beautiful destinations pairing the top with your white jeans.
Don’t know what extra quarantine weight you were talking about. You look stunning!
Our customers really look like models.
Darlene, you look fabulous in this! I think Bolero’s tops are so underrated because they really are flattering but also comfortable. I have the Ezy Tunic in two options from her, and it’s one of my favorite tops of all time. P.S. That black skirt is killer!
