Last week I showed you Panache’s new offerings . This week I’m focusing on Curvy Kate. Everything featured here will be released during spring/summer 2017 (generally January through June).
CK’s latest collection is more juvenile and cute. There is lots of neon, especially neon pink, with a few pops of blue, as well as influences we were told include kitsch, fun, and surf. They’ve also expanded their molded options in response to demand from US customers.
New style Vegas really fulfills that kitsch influence, with a fun flamingo and floral print. (28-40 D-K, 42-44 D-G)
The Daily Dream in “Aqua” is light and refreshing, one of many seafoam-colored options I saw this season. (28-40 D-K, 42-44 D-G)
Cabaret in “Dragonfruit” (love that color name!) is the first of several hot pink choices. (28-38 D-J)
One of several new molded bras is the Smoothie Soul, which features a new mold based off the original Smoothie and a deeper plunge. It even uses two different molds for the lower half of the cup alphabet and the upper half, to ensure the best possible support. Note the tiny pink button in the gore. (28-30 D-J, 32D-HH, 34D-H, 36D-GG, 38D-G)
Naturally, the Smoothie Soul is also available in hot pink with neon orange pin dots.

Another new molded bra is the Smoothie Deluxe, which offers a lace band and bright “Ultramarine” color. (28-30 D-J, 32D-HH, 34D-H, 36D-GG, 38D-G)
And back to hot pink, with the new Princess Plunge, a take on the classic Princess cut with a deeper plunge and this a lower profile up front. (28-40 D-J)
Belle is a new babydoll in navy with golden embroidery, available in a huge range of sizes. (29-40 D-K)
Similar to last season’s Kitty babydoll is the new Can Can, in another neon pink shade. Too cute! (30-40 D-J)
Another pop of blue in the “Aqua” Portia. (28-40 D-K)
CK’s swim collection has lots of innovation this go-round:
The Galaxy collection offers a bandeau bikini and one-piece swimsuit with removable strapping (both 28-30 D-J, 32D-HH, 34D-H, 36D-GG, 38D-G), plus a strappy plunge bikini top (28-40 D-K) and two different coordinating bottoms.
Introducing Peachy Pairs—reversible bikini bottoms that match the rest of the collection in three different colors. So clever! Unfortunately, they were pretty skimpy—very low-rise and cheeky with a gathered center up the back to contour to your butt. I wish CK would offer more coverage with their bottoms.
Set Sail is a cute nautical set with sky blue lacing and details. (28-40 D-J)
But look at how skimpy the bottoms are! What the heck, CK? Not every woman wants half her butt cheeks on display!
Thankfully, this suit does at least come with a high-waist bottom (though the legs still look a little high-cut to me).
Reflex does a subtle spin on the strappy trend with little cutouts at the corners of the cups. This is the plunge bikini, but it also comes in a bandeau and a plunge tankini. (All: 28-40 D-J)
And lastly, the Hi Voltage set, which I feel takes some inspiration from CK’s own sexy Scantilly line. (30-40 D-K)
Check out those sexy bottoms! (Though once again they show too much buttcheek for my personal preference.)
Finally, we come to Scantilly , which as usual is offering several new additions to the clever and ultra-sexy line.
I absolutely adore Knockout, with its sheer fabric, black trim, and ring details on the gore and straps. (30-38 DD-HH)
These bottoms look a little ridiculous by themselves, but the collection also includes a suspender with garter clips, including one in the center that attaches to that ring. It looks really fabulous all together (you can see it on the open lookbook page in the previous photo).
Another strappy sensation is the Vamp set. I adore the suspender belt and its attached garters. I would consider just buying that single piece. (30-38 DD-HH)
I love that the belt feels a little bondage-y without being too obvious.
Peek-A-Boo is back in a vibrant orchid purple. (30-38 DD-HH)
Lastly, the Lavish set features ornate, baroque-style detailing. (30-38 DD-HH)
So gorgeous!
