Channeling Jimmy Buffett this week.
Boat drinks.
Waitress, I need two more boat drinks.
Then I’m headin’ south ‘fore my dream shrinks.
I gotta go where it’s warm.
I’m escaping the dreadfully cold Northeast winter via cruise ship and getting the chance to wear the swimsuits I picked up last year from Lion’s Lair in Islamorada.
The Elomi swim bra is usable as a first piece when paired with a tankini or on its own as a solid bikini. I use a rash guard when swimming and snorkeling, so I don’t bother with the extra layer of a tankini. I became a bikini devotee when I first found cup-sized swimwear and will snap up any I can find in my size. I like having a few in different colors as the bikini tops make great foundation layer under strappy sundresses or as pieces I’m comfortable to have peeking out under something low cut.
Clearly, I’m not the only full-busted consumer. From the Wacoal Holdings consolidated business statement:
With respect to Wacoal Eveden Limited (from January 1, 2013 to September 30, 2013), we continued to make efforts to expand our market share and improve profitability by exploiting our strengths in fuller bust bras in the United Kingdom, certain European markets, North America and Australia whilst strengthening our group synergies. Fantasie brand sales in particular saw strong growth in all markets due to its high quality and competitive price points. In addition, sales of our brand products for the fuller figure, Elomi, and all swimwear brands showed favorable performance in both the United States and Europe as a result of our successful efforts in strengthening product development and general economic Improvement.
Next week — I’ll show you the dresses I’ve paired with these bikinis.
In the meantime, I’ve gotta go where it’s warm.
