Went back to work last week and this week has been insane. Have plenty of post ideas about how busty women are being viewed by other women but haven’t had time to write them but will get to that as soon as things calm down! Started riding dressage again to relieve my work stress and have been transitioning back to work style from holiday style.
Today we’re going to my second last week of holiday and as you can see, summer can also be cold, and unfortunately when I went to my family’s northern cottage, it was cool, like near autumn cool. Luckily the outdoor patios at bars provide blankets for customers!
This is how the Michael Kors knit top and the Nine West jacket looked without the warm blanket:
When I flew from the south of Finland to the north I did not have a coat with me because I wasn’t assuming I’d need one in July so had to go shopping and bought this Ril’s trench coat:
And as a casual style at the cottage by the lake, just about 100km from the Arctic Circle, I wore this casual hoodie. Picture by my cousin’s adorable five-year-old son. 🙂
Now I have a dilemma. I’ll be a judge in the National Eventing Championships this weekend and can’t decide what to wear!
I had it easy when I judged- FFA had a uniform for student judges. Are you being a fence judge or a ring judge?
Also… did you end up buying the mare?
A fence judge in the cross country part of the competition, hoping no-one will fall or fall off! So standing outside all day long.
I’m not sure yet if I’ll buy the mare, earliest transportation possibility to bring her here would be April/May anyway so have time to think about it. The only issue is that stable rents per month are over 600€ and that does not cover shoeing or vets or any special diets. So really have to think if I can truly afford it so that I wont regret owning a horse. The mare is absolutely wonderful so if I ever will buy a horse it will be her 🙂
Do they let you have a lawn chair for it? I always got out of fence judge duty (my lesson barn growing up switched from field hunters to eventing my last few years there) but I know that was always one in the truck on those days (with sunscreen and a good hat!)
If I converted it correctly, that’s a little more than what’s standard for the area- depending on amenities. But that’s great to hear you clicked so well! One of the working students for my trainer really wants to buy one of horses there for consignment (she’s in love with him, for good reason) but is putting it off for another couple of months just because how expensive he will be – she had the hardest time making the decision to wait.
