As you know, my work style is feminine when it comes to shape but edgy in style, but today I’m putting together a work wardrobe for those of you with a very feminine and ladylike style.  Most of these pieces come from Pepperberry’s spring collection. I do adore their feminine concept, but I can only incorporate a few of their pieces into my style, as I mentioned in last week’s post. However, for a feminine style corporate lady they do offer a good selection!

First, here are the four dresses I chose for this collection. The first two might seem like what I would personally also wear, but I find the sweetheart neckline too romantic for my personal style, and the navy notch dress is a ladylike classic that doesn’t suit my persona all that well. However both are very beautiful dresses.

Sweetheart neckline is flattering for a bustier lady and this dress looks very classic chic.
Navy notch neck dress, also available in teal in the spring collection. Very professional looking chic dress as well.
Peplum dress, lovely shape for especially more narrow hipped busty women. Comes also in black. A workwear staple.
Pleat skirt dress with a zip back detail. Classic style and easy to wear. Pleats always look very ladylike.

These dresses offer variety as they don’t all look the same but are cohesive in the classy and classic feminine style.

Pepperberry offers a wide selection of tops, blouses and shirts. Here are the blouses I picked for this professional wardrobe.

Ditsy floral frill blouse. Frills do suit a romantic style and in this colour the look is still professional – especially teamed with a classic pencil skirt.
Cross front spot top teamed with the 3/4 sleeve shaped hem ponti blazer. Fresh womanly look – works with jeans or classic trousers. Sleeve length and neckline flattering for a top heavy woman.

I also like this classic black suit with feminine details in back.

Feminine suit is a workwear must, the pleated back looks lovely and the red shirt makes the outfit refreshing – although any color shirt would work with this suit.
The beautiful back detail.

These are my recommendations for a ladylike feminine busty work wardrobe – easily available from Pepperberry and tailored for bigger busts.

Note: It’s a shame that lately they’ve become less bust friendly. For example, my UK 34GG bust can still fit into their 14SC or 16RC sleeved items, but when the label was still called Bravissimo my size was 14RC or 16C. Reportedly now 8C fits more or less like high street so those ladies who used to rely on the SC (Super Curvy) size might not fit into their items and need an SDC size (Super Duper Curvy) which is not offered in many styles. Overall, however, I do think they are doing a wonderful job offering fitted clothing to curvy ladies.
