Here are some links that I’ve been gathering for you over the last few weeks:

  1. January’s Lucky Magazine had these suggestions for women who are petite and busty.  Do you agree that skinny jeans can make us look too top heavy?
  2. America Ferrera finds a square neckline works well with her 32D bust.  I’ve had good luck with these necklines as well–almost like a scoop neck with less cleavage.  However, I do think that squares tend to highlight the bustline slightly more than scoops and V’s.  As an added bonus, this post also gives a link to advice based on Jessica Simpson.
  3. From this vintage list of fashion’s do’s and don’t’s:  avoid tiny hats.  Actually, much of this advice is still relevant, proving that the science of dressing applies to all trends.  However, I would think that trimmed shoulders would bring the eye up from the bust–I’ll have to experiment with this and see.  And pencil skirts may cause us to lean towards looking top heavy, but I love them.
  4. In this video, Sam Saboura gives solutions for a full-figured, petite woman.  I’m including it because I can’t tell if “full-figured” is a euphemism for “plus size” or “busty”, but she’s definitely the latter.  Too bad he didn’t put her in a correctly-fitting bra to begin with.  I’m loving the jacket–even if it doesn’t look like it buttons–and the pencil skirt!
