I’ve been wondering this ever since posting about her here and here.  Yesterday I saw her denim puff sleeve shirt dress in a Filene’s Basement window and stopped everything to try it.  Short answer:  This dress isn’t made for an H cup, but a DD, and maybe even an F, shouldn’t even need a safety pin.

I’m wearing the size 14 in these pictures.  With its short waist and hem that ended just below my knees, it actually seemed to be cut for a petite.  I loved how fitted it was in back, and the princess seams that doubled as belt loops were a neat detail.  I was so sad it didn’t fit me. 

This means that if Jessica Simpson is the actual fit model for her clothing, she’s not an H cup.  And if she’s a celebrity who is a true DD, then all you D, DD/E and F women are in luck!  Looking at some of the other dress styles on her site, however, I have to wonder why she doesn’t offer more necklines that are flattering to women with large breasts.
