I’m loving Sadie’s posts about her wedding dress experience. It makes me want to get married again just so I can find and wear another wedding dress! Instead, I’ll focus on some nice spring coats and jackets. It was too warm for a coat today, so I’m posting this before it’s too late.
First, take a look at this great jacket that my friend Marketa found at Free People for only $88. My pictures don’t do it justice. She wears a 34F, and this jacket highlighted her hourglass figure perfectly. It fastens with a large hook and eye closure, something I’m noticing a lot in stores this season. The fabric is soft knit. Marketa is wearing a size small.
I met with a 32H fit model on Saturday who was wearing a $40 trench coat by Elle McPherson that her mother found for her at Kohls. It was bright and fitted. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find it online, but here’s something similar by Anne Klein. Zippers are a very good thing.
