No. I thought this size 16 shirt would be the simplest of all that I brought in. I wanted the shoulder seams to line up with my own shoulders, but Rosa said it would make the new armhole too narrow. She didnâ€™t think my suggestion of adding extra fabric from the bottom of the shirt was worth the effort or expense: $25 to fix the shoulders and $20 to fix the cuffs, plus another $14 to take in the seams in back. If I absolutely loved this $20 shirt, I would have spent $59 for the alterations, but it wasnâ€™t that special.
