At the clothing swap a couple of weeks ago, I found the feather epaulettes on this woman’s top fascinating. What a great way to balance a large bust and to draw the eye up.
Unfortunately, her bad bra drew the eye right back down to her curiously smashed in and low-hanging bust. Such a great example of Why Bras Matter.
I’d actually love to see more posts about this, especially if you could show the same top (either on yourself or a volunteer) with a bad bra vs. a good bra. Great idea!
Thanks for the suggestion, Tasha. I easily leave details like that out and need a reminder to include them.
It’s amazing how much a bra can change a top. I’ve spent the last two weeks drafting a new work-church-class blouse and switching from my great fitting seamed bras to a poorly fitting molded bra completely changed the fit and looked so much worse (and showed that I really need to go shopping for a new one).
I agree with Tasha that seeing before and after is a great idea (and showing details like the epaulettes).
