Two weeks ago, I ordered one more sample from my sewing contractor. It should arrive on Tuesday. Please let the pucker problem be gone this time! With so much lag time between identifying a problem and attempting to resolve it, you can see why I’ll be tempted to accept whatever is in the package. Otherwise, everything will be delayed while I either (a) request yet another sample, or (b) look for a sewing contractor in the Garment District when no one wants to take on new work because they’re helping their established clients prepare for Fashion Week in September.
On the bright side, the current delay is giving me extra time to prepare for the launch. I’m preparing an email to let women know my shirts are available to pre-order. If you’d like to be included, please send me an email at darlenecee@gmail.com!
Finally, I realize that summer is almost over with nary a swimming suit review from me. I plan to remedy that next week with reviews of three suits that my fit models and I have tried this summer. We still have some hot weather ahead of us, and if you’re lucky, you’ll find some of the suits we review on sale.
