First up, black tees and jeans–the easiest thing in the world to wear. It may not be very imaginative, but we always look good in this.
Next up, accessorized black tees. Don’t you love the attitude oozing from the woman in the center photo? I photoshopped her face for privacy, but those round sunglasses were integral to her outfit. (And see what I meant in today’s earlier post about getting away with a little more cleavage in a black tee?)
In the past I was really guilty of relying WAY too much on black T-shirts. I’m trying my best to get away from that (I still have a lot of black in my wardrobe but I’m slowly adding in more color). But I think the black shirts are pretty easy. The color is flattering and black is such a common color that it’s easy to find shirts in a wide variety in black. It goes with almost anything, hence, simplifying your wardrobe. But I’m trying now to get away from just what is easy. 😀
I’ve been guilty of this, too. I have to force myself to branch out. But last week, I just kept thinking how great everyone looked in their black tees. If I choose to take the lazy route, at least I’ll look good. 🙂
Haha, exactly!
