Spring has come to Berlin, flowers are popping up and the sun is shining. While there has been a few warmer days it’s still chilly outside. I’ve been wearing cotton sweaters and long sleeve t-shirts the past few weeks.
I thought it would be fun to share my OOTD (outfits of the day). I’m giving my sizes and the brand for each photo for reference and I’ve linked to the tops from Urkye that I am wearing. For reference I am 5’7 (170 cm) and my measurements in inches are 50-41-46 (127-104-117 cm). You’re also going to find out that I love the French brand Sezane in this post.

This is my look from yesterday, when it was even warmer in Berlin. I had the day off from work and did home improvement while also taking photos for future Hourglassy photos. The t-shirt is from Sezane in size XXXL. I like the deep v-neck on this shirt but I have never worn it to work (even remotely). My jeans are from H&M and size 50 in Germany and size 18 in the US (for future use in this post 50/18).

This is my St. Patrick’s Day look. I wore this to work and to an Irish Pub. The top is from Urkye and is size 46 2/3 with jeans from H&M in size 50/18.

Please also enjoy the bonus pic of me in the Pub (the green square covers people in the background).

I wore this outfit to work in the office. It’s the Max shirt from Sezane in size 44 with bootcut jeans from American Eagle Outfitters in size 18.

I wore this outfit on a Sunday to meet some other international people at a coffee shop and then ended up going to a park with another friend. It’s a heavier sweater that I struggle to wear as it is warm but the neck is so open that it’s too cold to wear in the winter. The sweater is size XXL from Sezane with jeans from H&M in size 50/18.

Another outfit for working in the office and another sweater from Sezane in size XXL with jeans from H&M in size 50/18.

Brown seems to be everywhere in the stores right now and I bought this long sleeved t-shirt in size XXL from H&M in January. I’m glad I tried the brown top, but I have a feeling my nieces are going to end up wearing this shirt (they live in oversized tops). The trousers are also from H&M in size 50/18.

I wore this outfit to work from home. The top is from Urkye and size 46 2/3 with jeans from H&M in size 50/18.

Apparently, this Brooks Brothers sweater is trendy now as a younger co-worker complimented me on it. The sweater is size XL (it runs big, most XL sweaters from Brooks Brothers are smaller than this). I’m wearing H&M jeans in size 50/18.

I wore this Urkye wrap top to go out to dinner with a friend. The shirt is in size 44 2/3 with a skirt from H&M in size XL.

And final photo, my outfit from today, another Urkye shirt in size 46 2/3 with H&M jeans in size 50/18. It’s Saturday, I cleaned my apartment in this, built a new dining room table and then went for a long walk. Oh, and I also baked gluten free bread from scratch for the first time.

Do any of you have a favorite outfit combination for Early Spring?
More OOTD posts please, They show how all your wardrobe works together and it was helpful to see Sezane tops on a curvy shape , I am always looking for flattering tops. The dark green Urkiye one looks stunning on you.
Thanks for reminding us about Urkye tops! I have a few Urkye v-neck tops, mostly long sleeve. I’m glad Urkye is still around. I was sad when Biubiu went out of business.
My favorite Urkye design on you is the long-sleeve, v-neck wrap top. I think they’re particularly flattering combined with bootcut jeans. The front patch pockets on your H&M jeans take advantage of your slim hips. Next time you wear the American Eagle bootcut jeans, will you please photograph it with a tucked-in Urkye wrap top?
I have a similar body type. My top priority when getting dressed is balancing a fuller upper body with slimmer hips. I love how v-necks slim down my shoulders and bust. You demonstrate the same design magic when you wear Urkye wrap tops.
I carry a large mirrored compact in my purse. In fitting rooms, I check the side and back views before purchase. Some designs flatten my bottom in a not-flattering way. Others maximize my belly in a not-flattering way. If you have a tripod, will you please include profile and back shots? Even if a post has only one outfit in it, having three different angles will help viewers immensely.
Your post reminded me to check Urkye’s website. I’ve been waiting for them to have a new color that would work for me. Finally they have one! I just bought the Kopertówka long-sleeve wrap top in what they call vivid purple. As a reminder to your readers, the “EN” button near the upper right corner translates the site into English. The url for your English-speaking readers if https://urkye.pl/en_US/index.
That bread looks amazing.
Keep up the good work!
