After three years of development, Empreinte’s first sports bra comes out this month, and we can’t wait to try it. Another first: it comes in a 28 band in D, E & F cups. You can find it in a G cup in 30-40 bands and in an H in 30-36 bands.
Instead of using a J-hook for a cross back like everyone else, Empreinte fastens the straps in front.
This way you can have the traditional back, as seen below,
or cross the straps over each other.
Retailing at around $200, this may be the most expensive sports bra on the market. Given how often I wear any sports bra that I own, the cost-per-wear is likely worth it if the support and shape are amazing. Also, since it’s a seamless bra, this could get extra mileage as a T-shirt bra.
Two of our writers are receiving review samples this week, so they’ll let you know what they think of the fit, comfort and performance soon. As far as style and features, however, I’m in love.
It also comes with matching shorties (top pic) in XXS-XXL and leggings in XS-L.
Finally, you can read the first published review of the bra and leggings over at The Lingerie Journal.
