Diana has been a friend of Hourglassy for YEARS. She’s the visionary founder behind the gorgeous bust-friendly lingerie line Bijte, and today for the first time she’s a contributor to our blog. Happily, it’s not the only time she’ll be writing for us this month!

I’m one of those people who work out because I have to, not at all because I love it. Though I have a semi-regular routine, it is a chore EVERY SINGLE TIME. I never leave a workout thinking I can’t wait to it again. On occasion I’ll impress myself and think I did way more than I thought I could.
For years the absolute worst thing about working out for me was finding a bra that would hold and support my very heavy 34GG girls. Finding a decent sports bra to hold and support 34GGs while sweating profusely and hoping not to die in the process was not an easy task.
I literally have scars to show for the bad sport bra choices I have made in the past. I’m talking deep ugly grooves on the shoulders, a stab wound on my chest where a wayward underwire poked through, all manner of chaffing under my breasts and on my sides where the band of the bra rubbed too tightly. The craziest was the one sports bra where the eye on the closure in the back of the bra was too close to the tip of the closure so that when I hooked the bra, the hooks raked by my back– I mean took off real skin! It took me a couple of days to figure out that the weird scratches on my back were a bad sports bra related injury.
Most of my sports bras woes have been addressed with the Panache Ultimate High Impact Underwire Sports Bra. I have gone through at least 4 of these sports bras in the last couple of years. I have not handled the bras with the care that they deserve or require. Notwithstanding how badly I treat them (mostly by just throwing them in the washing machine and occasionally the ultimate no-no throwing them in the dryer), they have held up well. They don’t come cheap, but bras for busty girls hardly ever do, especially putting in the kind of work required to hold and support my girls.
The most recent addition to my Panache Ultimate High Impact Underwire Sport Bra collection is this Lunar Print one. It has not disappointed. The girls are held snugly in place. It does not have uniboob effect and it keeps the bust nice and high.
I usually look a mess when I go to the gym but the fit on this bra is so good and slimming it makes me step up my gym wardrobe game. I am able to run, jump around, and lift with comfort wearing this sports bra. I would still rather avoid the gym, but this Panache Ultimate High Impact Underwire Sport Bra makes it easier to go and get a full sweat going. I highly recommend. It retails for $70.
