For this season’s Curve Expo, I’m going to do fewer brands in each post, starting with Panache. Over the next few weeks, I’ll cover more brands, but I’m going to try to keep these posts a little more brief than usual, only showcasing what I consider the highlights. Everything here will be released throughout January – June 2017.
As usual with Panache, there are plenty of new prints and colors, as well as new designs that are based on classic Panache shapes. In particular, there are some great, modern florals, and lovely swimwear prints.
Clara comes in fabulous colors and sizes 30-38 D-J. This shade is “Royal Blue.”
Clara in “Pink/Dove.” It also comes in “Charcoal/Black” and “Nude,” which looks like ivory in photos.Note the grayish and darker cream lace accents—much preferable to white, in my opinion.The new Andorra (28-40 D-J) color, “Mineral Blue.” This sea blue shade made a lot of appearances across several brands.Lovely!The new Floris (30-38 D-K) fashion color is gorgeous.Absolutely love the digital floral print of Thea (30-38 D-K).I adore the new Envy (28F-HH, 30-38 D-K) fashion color of coral.The new sports bra (28-40, up to J cups) prints are to die for: “Cyber” (top) and “Kaleidoscope.”And the wireless sports bras (28-40, up to H cups) coordinate perfectly.For Panache Black, Aria’s (28F-H, 30-38 D-H) new “Navy/Nude” color is a deep, rich blue. Note that it looks bright sapphire blue in the catalog, but it’s clearly navy in real life, one of my favorite lingerie colors.Ruby (28F-H, 30-38 D-H) is a new style based off of Esme that takes advantage of the strappy trend in a subtle way with keyholes at the straps.Closeup of Ruby’s strap detail. The band felt super silky and nice.Etta (28D-F, 30-38 D-G) is another lovely navy piece, this time with art deco influence.Etta’s high-waisted briefs are quite sexy with the sheer stripes.Panache Black has also added bridalwear with the Quinn collection (30F-HH, 32-38 D-K).The strapless molded plunge Quinn (28E-G, 30-38 D-G) looks pretty standard upon first glance……But it has a pretty lace band in back!Moving on to swimwear, I absolutely loved the Florentine one-piece (30E-G, 32-38 D-G) with its adjustable black belt and ink-blot (or what they call “Blue Floral”) print. It also comes in a bandeau bikini (30E-G, 32-38 D-G).
Fan favorite Britt is back in a dark red with white stripes and button details. Choices include this bandeau top (30-38 D-G), a halter bikini (30-38 D-H), halter tankini (30-38 D-H), and two swim bottom styles.Lord knows I love me some high-waisted bottoms.The Sia collection has pieces up to J-cups, and features a great tribal-esque navy and white print.A closeup of the Sia print.I was also a big fan of the tropical print of Leila (up to J-cups), which is intended to appeal to a slightly younger demographic.Panache is on a role with these tropical prints! Here’s Elle (up to J-cups), whose striped trim makes it look super modern.
Next we have Panache Cleo:
Marcie (28E-H, 30-38 D-J) is one of my favorites for fit, and this navy with red trim is a favorite color combo too.Yes! Yes yes yes! Hettie (28E-H, 30-38 D-J) is the best fitting Cleo bra I’ve ever owned, but last season’s black-over-pink color left me cold. This navy-over-teal is perfection! You will be mine…Every season there’s one bra I know I’ll be buying, and this time Hettie is it!I’m also quite fond of the new color for Skye (28F-H, 30-38 D-J).Koko Muse (28E-GG, 30-38 D-H) returns in a cool denim color with barely-there neon yellow accents.And Koko Spirit is introduced in a fuchsia. I was told it’s the same fit as Koko Muse, but “more elevated” (whatever that means).The lace longline Piper (28E-H, 30-38 D-J) returns in a juicy “Acid Coral.”And Mimi (28-38 D-H) returns in a print that marries Piper and Koko Muse.More amazing tropical prints made appearances in Cleo swim, such as the Avril collection (up to H-cups).It looks like a watercolor painting up close!Yet another great print on offer with old favorite Lucille (up to J-cups).It looks like stripes, but up close you can see it’s a rope pattern, for subtle nautical flare.Suki (up to H cups) returns in a stunning blue stripey pattern.Up close, it looks like watercolor bleeding across paper—I looooove it!Another gorgeous blue print is the black-trimmed Gigi (up to G-cups).Notice that it’s actually purple and blue up close, making the color look super saturated at a distance.
