Leah and I had a great time at Curve yesterday, and we’ll be sharing our finds soon. I have a few follow-up visits to make at the trade show today, so if you have any questions you’d like me to ask the manufacturers, please let me know.
Following Leah’s hip-friendly Lady K Loves jeans review on Friday (remember to enter the giveaway!), I thought I’d share this amazing gown from Tia Lyn. You may recall that I only just discovered Tia Lyn at Curve in February. Afterwards, I discovered this Vintage gown on their website and wondered if it could work as a slip.
Somehow I missed the photos of the models wearing it because they make it obvious that it’s ultra sheer. What they don’t make obvious is how soft the fabric is and how much stetch is in it! Here’s a demonstration by the company rep and Leah.
And at 3:01 in this video from Full Figure Fashion Week 2015, you can see a model with 52″ hips wearing the size 1X.
If you’re wondering what size would be best for you, the company rep told me that I would wear a size small in Tia Lyn, and I currently wear a generous size 8 in many outerwear brands.
Tia Lyn has some new pieces that I’ll be sharing soon!
Stopped by the Tia Lyn booth at Curve to check out this slip. It feels delicious! And the new Crimson pieces are divine. A little bird whispered to me that Brazen Bras in Freehold, NJ carries Tia Lyn in store. I know BraOlogy had some pieces too….need to track down their next workshop or make a road trip to Freehold.
