1. TJ Hughes has a website called Bras4Mums that includes a post from Claire, who was a 34GG before pregnancy. I’m looking forward to following Claire’s bra journey through her second pregnancy, and I think some of you will, too.
2. Anina of BrazenLingerie asked the CurveNY exhibitors very specific questions on behalf of her nursing customers. Example: “Can a nursing bra be unhooked with one hand?” The tops by Glamourmom get her seal of approval. Check out the Glamourmom Nursing Bra Full Bust Long Top that goes up to an I Cup. I’ve said it before–I’d consider wearing one of these without being a nursing mom. Do you think the hook gives too much away? Next time I see one, I’ll try it on to see what the support is like. In addition to Brazen Lingerie, you can find this brand at Macy’s, A Pea in a Pod, Motherhood Maternity, Destination Maternity and various specialty boutiques.
The clips are pretty visable if you plan on wearing the tank by itself. Panache makes a non-nursing tank for full busts in 32D-38H.
Glamourmom is okay, but I feel it doesn't offer enough support for a really heavy full nursing breast. I prefer the Bravado tanks that have a REAL bra built in for a 32B-40G. That said, I make my own nursing bras out of Panache Andorra bras and get amazing support!
I was hoping you'd read this and comment, Karen. Thanks for the insight! I just looked at the Panache Andorra, and it's really pretty. I would LOVE for you to write about how you make your own nursing bras out of them, either here or elsewhere that I can link to.
