I couldn’t resist the lure of a free “custom-fitted shirt” so I set my alarm for 5:30 this morning and was 18th in line at the Thomas Pink White Collar Shirt Bar. By 8:00, the line was at least 8 times what you see below.
Women had the choice of two styles, shown after the jump. I chose the tailored style on the left rather than the slim fit style on the right because, although the placket on the slim fit style would be more likely to conceal any gapping, the rest of the shirt would probably highlight the extra weight I’m carrying right now.
Sadly, I don’t have a lot of faith in their free custom-fit process. It consisted simply of asking what size I usually wear and measuring my bust and waist. I’ll see what’s delivered in 10 business days and report back then. For a true custom experience, it looks like I’ll have to go to Cego.
Wow, I'm not surprised about the line, but it's still a jolt to see a picture.
Hopefully, your efforts will prove the shirt to be more accommodating than you believe.
