Here’s my other top choice from my Bravissimo try-ons that I just had to order when it went on sale. The 20% off is good through November 30, which is why I’m making sure to write about it today.

The jersey fabric is substantial–a really nice weight.
I couldn’t remember if I tried a 10C/RC or a 10RC/SC in the store, but since it’s jersey, I decided to risk the 10C/RC. Win!!! There’s absolutely no pulling at my chest.
Besides great fit, another reason there’s no pulling is the front placket sewn shut from the fourth button down. So I can adjust my neckline depth via the functioning buttons above it, but there’s no danger of gapping below it.
Here you can see the great double princess seams that help with the fit–and keep the front balanced with the back. There’s no hi-low effect at the hem like there is in the black drawstring shirt dress.
Back view. As you can probably tell, the length and proportions are pretty great for someone who is petite. I’m 5’3″.

I haven’t had time to wash it yet, so I can’t report on shrinkage or fading, but I plan to wash it in cold water and dry it on a rack.

It also comes with a fabric waist tie, but I like the line of this dress without it.
