Not surprisingly, many of you would like to see more budget-AND-bust-friendly options, and it so happens I’ve found something incredibly affordable: the Riders by Lee Easy Care Woven Shirt for less than $20. (Clicking on the Amazon link in the preceding sentence may result in commissions paid to Hourglassy.) Two months ago, a BBP commenter mentioned this shirt, and a few days later I found myself staring at a rack of them at my favorite off-price clothing store for only $3.99!!!

Two buttons under the hidden placket make a safety pin unnecessary. The buttons end where the V-neckline begins.

I had to buy one if only for research purposes. I didn’t expect to enjoy wearing it–it’s loose enough that I can pull this size M on over my head with every button fastened. As a reminder, I have a 32.5″ waist and 41″ bust. I wear a 32FF/G bra. The fabric is treated for wrinkle resistance, which makes it slightly stiff, but it seems to be softening with wash and wear.

Even thought it’s a loose fit, this shirt manages to give me a shape. It has the all-important princess seams, and the armholes are actually cut high, meaning I have great range of motion with my arms. The manufacturer didn’t try to cut corners on fit by making room for a larger bust from the armholes.

A simple step like rolling up the wide sleeves goes a long way towards de-frumping this shirt!

It turns out this shirt also looks good tucked in! And my husband actually complimented me in it when I wore it below, so it looks like I’ll be wearing it for more than research purposes after all.

I can’t find this particular print and color online, but there are some wonderful solid options. I’m tempted to add the red to my closet.
