We weren’t sure which dress we’d like, so we also ordered this peachy-creamy floral print. I was super tempted to keep this dress (and it was super discounted when I purchased it for our shoot), but ultimately I don’t have enough occasions for it in my life right now.

This is the only picture I have of Camille in this dress. She’s wearing a 6P again.

I was determined to prove that this dress could be casual-ized! Otherwise, it has a very spring-wedding-guest feel to it. I couldn’t pick up the Bravissimo denim jacket in time for our shoot, but I found this Uniqlo jacket in medium, and it actually buttoned comfortably over my chest.

I’m wearing the 12P in this photo, and I think shorter length works better proportionally with the jacket and sneakers. I contrast this look with the 10R at the end because I’m geeky that way.
This is the 10R. Camille felt the longer length looked better with my heels, and I agree.
12P

(Are you curious about our shoot location? I have a membership at Luminary, an amazing women’s networking/co-working space that also happens to have great lighting and good backgrounds for photos. If you’re in NYC and would like to meet me there sometime, let me know!)
