Last October, I mentioned Moi-Meme. This past Monday, I met with its founder, Dawn Verbrigghe, and got to try on the shirt below. It was made for a law student who is an F cup. I’m a G cup, and it almost fits. Imagine how the shirt will look when I order one to fit my own measurements!

The Moi-Meme shirt option is a dream come true on many levels:

1. It’s made-to-measure, which means that if you’re petite, you won’t have extra folds of fabric in the back. If you have long arms, your sleeves won’t stop before they reach your wrists.

2. You have choices: three cuff styles–French, barrel or extended; two collars–regular or extended; and three sleeve lengths–long, short or 3/4 length.

3. It comes in a variety of colors and prints.

4. It only cost $140. This includes a first set of alterations if there are problems with fit. For those of you who don’t live in NYC, you can work out the alterations long distance through pictures, email and phone calls. Dawn reports that so far no one has even requested alterations.

The only negative I can think of so far is that you have to wait 4-6 weeks to receive your shirt. For those of us who have been waiting all our lives for a shirt that fits, that isn’t very long, is it?

I’ll post more after I order and receive a shirt!
