My shirt pattern is ready! After leaving half a dozen messages with the patternmaker and dropping by in person a week ago Wednesday, they told me they would call me when it was ready. They never called, but when I finally called again this past Wednesday, determined to be firmer in my request for a definite time, I got the good news: “Oh. Your shirt is ready. You can stop by any time.” It’s the end of Fashion Week, so of course they couldn’t work with me any time this week, but Andrea and I are trying for next Thursday–I’m still leaving messages to confirm.
